BTS member V, whose real name is Kim Taehyung, departed through Incheon International Airport for an overseas schedule on the morning of the 4th. At the airport, V requested some fans to refrain from reckless behavior. He emphasized during a Weverse Live broadcast, “The airport is not a space for a specific individual but a public place that everyone uses.” He further advised, “As it is a space for everyone, maintaining order is more important than anything else.”
V mentioned the Purple Line campaign, which fans voluntarily participated in the past, saying, “If you can create an orderly culture like back then, I would be really grateful.” The Purple Line campaign started as a fandom culture aimed at maintaining a safe distance based on the color purple, ensuring the safety of both the artist and fans. V added, “If the Purple Line is reestablished, I would also want to pay more attention to my airport fashion and try wearing suits as well.”
V returned to his fans after completing his military service in June. BTS is preparing for a comeback with the goal of releasing a full album in the spring of next year.
