BTS member J-Hope is once again attracting attention on the global stage. His live performance video will be shown at Austria’s prestigious film festival. The ’Rathausplatz Film Festival 2025,’ held in Vienna, Austria, will officially screen the video of the Paris charity concert ’Yellow Coin Collection 2025’ featuring J-Hope on the 1st at 9 PM local time. This festival is a major cultural event in Europe, attracting around 900,000 visitors annually, and this year, J-Hope’s performance will be specially presented alongside concert videos of global pop stars such as Billie Eilish, Coldplay, and Dua Lipa.
J-Hope took the stage at the charity event at the invitation of French First Lady Brigitte Macron, performing songs like ’On The Street,’ ’MORE,’ and ’MIC Drop.’ His appearance caused a sensation, with 35,000 tickets selling out in just 10 minutes. On the day of the performance, the audience was filled with ’ARMY BOMB,’ the symbol of BTS. Notably, the scene where the audience sang along to the Korean lyrics ″I’m sorry, mom″ in perfect unison became a hot topic across France, and now that moment will resonate at the Austrian film festival as well.
J-Hope continues his unstoppable journey even after his military service. Making his comeback with a charity concert, he has since completed 33 solo world tour concerts in 16 cities, all of which were sold out, proving his ticket power as a global superstar. Additionally, he overwhelmed 60,000 audience members as a headliner at the ’Lollapalooza Berlin’ festival. This year alone, he has entered the Billboard Hot 100 four times with his solo and featured songs, setting a new record for the most entries by a K-pop solo artist (8 songs).
J-Hope stands alongside world-renowned pop stars as he appears on the screen of Austria’s representative cultural festival. This achievement is rewriting the status of Korean artists in its own right.
