The group Stray Kids made history by becoming the first K-pop act to perform at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, Italy, selling out the venue. They held a solo concert on July 30 (local time) as part of their world tour ’Stray Kids World Tour ’dominATE.’’ After meeting over 70,000 fans at the large music festival ’I-Days’ in Milan in July 2024, Stray Kids communicated with local fans through another solo concert in Rome in July 2025, marking a year since their last performance in the city.
Since its opening in 1953, the Stadio Olimpico has hosted various international sports events, including the Summer Universiade, World Athletics Championships, FIFA World Cup, and UEFA Champions League. It is also the home stadium for Serie A teams AS Roma and SS Lazio. The stadium can accommodate around 70,000 spectators, making this performance the largest K-pop concert held in Rome to date.
Stray Kids performed a total of eight stadium concerts across six locations in Europe, including Amsterdam’s Johan Cruyff Arena, Frankfurt’s Deutsche Bank Park, London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Madrid’s Civitas Metropolitano, Paris’s Stade de France, and Rome’s Stadio Olimpico, selling out every show. They showcased their representative songs that embody the group’s musical identity as ’record makers,’ along with a variety of genres, delivering a 180-minute performance featuring unit songs that involved participation from all eight members.
During the concert, Stray Kids bridged the physical distance with the audience by riding around the stadium in a mobile vehicle. They created moments of unity by singing along with fans to Korean lyrics. They successfully completed their ’largest-ever’ world tour with 54 shows across 34 regions worldwide. After the concert, Stray Kids expressed, ″Today is special as it marks the last performance of our European tour. Rome is known as the ’Eternal City,’ and just like that, the love between STAY and us will be eternal.″ They added, ″We relied on each other as members and were able to continue the performance thanks to the energy from STAY. We are truly grateful and hope this concert becomes a memorable moment in your lives.″
Stray Kids set various records for firsts, most, and largest during their world tour across five continents over approximately 11 months, achieving new heights for the group. After wrapping up this extensive journey, Stray Kids will now head to their hometown of Seoul, South Korea. They will release their fourth studio album ’KARMA’ on the 22nd, heralding the return of ’K-pop champions.’
