
Singer Lim Young-woong’s fan club, ″Hawaii Heroes,″ celebrated his 9th debut anniversary with a donation. On August 8th, the fan club announced a donation of $4,000 to the Hawaii Korean Association to commemorate the anniversary and the release of his second album, scheduled for August 29th. The fan club stated, ″We will continue to donate to the Korean community in Hawaii, carrying on the artist’s positive influence.″
″Hawaii Heroes″ practices giving through various charitable organizations. Last year, they donated $1,000 to the Korean American Citizens’ Association, $2,000 to the New York International Promise Church, $500 to the New York Traditional Music and Dance Association, 2 million won to the Love Peace House, and 2 million won to the Hana Bank Charity Soccer Team. Their cumulative donations now stand at $11,000 and 4 million won, respectively.
Lim Young-woong is scheduled to release his second full-length album, ″I’m Hero 2,″ on August 29th.
