Singer Jin has successfully concluded his US tour. Starting in Anaheim on August 17th, BTS’ Jin held eight fan concerts, ″#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR in U.S.″, in four cities: Dallas, Tampa, and Newark. Approximately 90,000 people attended the tour. Jin’s US tour garnered significant attention, setting several records.

Jin’s fan concert at the Honda Center in Anaheim drew the largest audience ever for a Korean artist. His performance at the American Airlines Center in Dallas became the first Korean solo artist to sell out all tickets. This is considered a testament to Jin’s overwhelming ticket sales power.

International media also responded positively. The Los Angeles Times reported, ″Jin delivered a masterclass in fan communication at the Honda Center. His performance was designed as a special love letter to his fans, imbued with a cheerful and sophisticated energy.″ The outlet continued, ″Jin communicates with fans in a captivating way and conveys his sincerity. This is precisely why fans love him. The BTS members’ solo performances are prime examples of how they transcend the group’s boundaries and become artists with their own unique strengths and charms.″

Forbes also commented on Jin’s performance. ″Jin displayed stable vocals, even in complex high notes. With his wide range and high-pitched control, he proved that he’s more than just a ’handsome face’ vocalist.″ The outlet also mentioned the scene where fans around the world sang along to the Korean lyrics of ″Spring Day,″ adding, ″Jin paused, looked at the audience, and embraced the moment with his whole body. This performance stemmed from the desire for the audience to fully enjoy themselves and jump around.″

This fan concert was designed to expand on the world of ″Run Seokjin,″ BTS’s original content released on their official YouTube channel. The unique opening, where he walked through the screen, pressed a buzzer, and shouted ″Challenge,″ was followed by a live performance that traversed ballads and rock, drawing an enthusiastic response from the audience. Games and makeup events with fans further highlighted Jin’s friendly charm.

Jin will kick off his European tour at the O2 Arena in London, England on September 5th and 6th. He will be the first Korean solo artist to perform on that stage, making a significant mark in concert history.
