The MBC entertainment program ″Hangout with Yoo″’s ″80s MBC Seoul Song Festival″ will air its second round of preliminary blind auditions on August 2, 2025. This second round of preliminary blind auditions featured producer Yoo Jae-suk, Haha, Joo Woo-jae, and writer Lee Yi-kyung listening to the recorded tapes submitted by the auditionees and judging them. A voice captivated the four from the very first verse. Yoo Jae-suk exclaimed, ″This guy has a voice that will make him popular!″ Joo Woo-jae exclaimed, ″It’s a modern voice, but it has an 80s vibe.″

Furthermore, another contestant impressed everyone with a performance of a different caliber. Haha exclaimed, ″Our music festival is going to be a hit! It’s going to be great!″ He was thrilled and exclaimed, ″I made it!″ Lee Yi-kyung was strangely drawn to his pure voice. Applicants with bold hairstyles also appeared, exuding a powerful presence.
