MONSTA X has warmed up their comeback with an appearance on a major American morning news program. They recently appeared on CBS Los Angeles’ ″KCAL News″ and KTLA’s ″KTLA 5 Morning News.″ While visiting the US for ″KCON LA 2025,″ MONSTA X shared their thoughts on their first KCON LA appearance in nine years and their anticipation for their Korean comeback on September 1st.

Appearing on ″KCAL News″ on the 31st of last month, MONSTA X said, ″It feels new to be performing on the KCON stage after nine years.″ They expressed their excitement for their first KCON performance as a group and also mentioned I.M, who was unable to attend due to health reasons. They emphasized the bond between the members, saying, ″While our youngest member, I.M, was unable to join us, he is recovering well and has sent us messages of support.″

MONSTA X also discussed their digital album ″NOW PROJECT vol. 1,″ released on the 10th anniversary of their debut in May. They stated, ″We were able to announce the full group with this album featuring Shownu’s voice,″ and added, ″We’ll be back with another great album on September 1st, so please look forward to it.″

At the end of the interview, when the local anchor greeted them with a ″thank you″ in Korean, MONSTA X complimented their fluent pronunciation, concluding the interview in a warm and inviting atmosphere. The ″KTLA 5 Morning News″ broadcast on the 1st then introduced their upcoming mini-album ″THE X,″ set for release on the 1st of next month. MONSTA X stated, ″Our new album ’THE X’ will be coming out soon. While chronicling MONSTA X’s 10th anniversary, it also signals a new beginning. It’s a fresh album, so we’re curious to see how fans will react.″

MONSTA X recently successfully concluded their three-day full group concert ’2025 MONSTA X CONNECT X’ at KSPO DOME in Seoul to celebrate their 10th anniversary. Since their debut, they have steadily targeted the US market and established a global presence. They plan to make a strong impression by appearing at ’KCON LA 2025’ held in LA, USA today (the 2nd, local time). MONSTA X is also gearing up for the final preparations ahead of the release of their mini album ’THE X’ on September 1st.
