IVE has revealed his rehearsal process for his ″Lollapalooza″ performance. His agency, Starship Entertainment, posted a video titled ″[Inside Lolla] Note #1: DANCE PRACTICE & BAND REHEARSAL″ on IVE’s official YouTube channel. The video captures IVE’s rehearsal ahead of his appearances at the global music festivals ″Lollapalooza Berlin″ and ″Lollapalooza Paris.″

On the first day of rehearsal, IVE focused on the opening sequence. Jang Won-young commented, ″It’s a bit awkward to see me waiting in the back. I want to make a surprise appearance,″ and reviewed the timing of his entrance. IVE discussed with his choreography teacher how to capture the audience’s attention. IVE then dedicated himself to perfecting his performance of 14 songs, including ″REBEL HEART,″ ″I AM,″ ″Accendio,″ and ″Baddie.″ The members sang the song, reviewed the choreography, and worked with the dancers to fine-tune the details.

During practice, they were seen joking around and strengthening their teamwork. As the performance was to be a live band performance, ensemble practice was crucial. The members gave their all to each verse, enhancing their perfection. During this process, Ahn Yu-jin and Lee Seo evoked laughter by suggesting the group shout ″I’m a what?″ right before the introduction of ″Baddie.″ This witty reference to a scene at last year’s Lollapalooza Chicago concert, where a fan shouted ″I’m a what?″ during the song’s introduction, which became a meme.

Ive meticulously reviewed the choreography during practice, even considering the timing of the stand-up microphone. On the final day of practice, they completed a run-through using both handheld and stand-up microphones to complete their preparations. After completing practice, Gaeul expressed her determination, saying, ″Dive (official fan club name)! We’ve finally finished our final practice for ’Lolapalooza’ and are heading to Berlin soon. We’ll do our best there and come back. Fighting!″

Ive performed on the main stage at ’Lolapalooza Berlin’ and ’Lolapalooza Paris’ on the 12th and 20th of last month, respectively. They achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first K-pop girl group to perform ’Lolapalooza’ in three cities for two consecutive years. Ive thrilled the local audience with her high-quality performance, stable live performance, and exceptional stage presence.

Ive will release her fourth mini-album, ’Ive Secret,’ and the title track ’XOXZ,’ on August 25th.
