Will the Dominate Tour surpass Blackpink’s record?

Stray Kids is aiming to break the record for the largest attendance for a single K-pop tour with their world tour ″Dominate.″ This record currently belongs to BLACKPINK, whose ″BORN PINK″ world tour, which concluded in September 2023, attracted 2.11 million fans worldwide. JYP Entertainment, Stray Kids’ agency, estimates the expected attendance for ″Dominate″ at around 2.2 million.

Stray Kids have continued to achieve this goal, with recent concerts selling out repeatedly. They performed at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on March 31st and March 1st, local time. This marked the first time a fourth-generation K-pop group has performed at the stadium. SoFi Stadium has hosted world-renowned artists like BTS and TWICE, and it will also host the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

Stray Kids initially planned this concert as a one-time show, but the explosive response led them to decide to add more. They demonstrated their rapid growth by performing at SoFi Stadium just two years after their debut North American stadium show at BMO Stadium in March 2023.

The ″Dominate″ tour is Stray Kids’ largest-ever world tour, consisting of 55 shows in 34 countries around the world. Kicking off in Asia, the tour will then travel to Europe and North America, with performances at Globe Life Field in Arlington on July 6th and 7th. The tour will then conclude in Rome on July 30th.
