
The group ENHYPEN successfully concluded their world tour in Japan, once again proving their status as a ″performance powerhouse.″ ENHYPEN held their world tour ″Walk the Line Japan Summer Edition″ (hereafter referred to as ″Summer Edition″) at Yanmar Stadium Nagai in Osaka, Japan, on August 2nd and 3rd. This concert was one of ten shows held across four Japanese cities, each with a capacity of approximately 400,000, and served as a reaffirmation of ENHYPEN’s popularity.
From November of last year to January of this year, ENHYPEN successfully completed a dome tour spanning three cities in the shortest period of time for a K-pop boy group. They built a strong fan base by performing at Saitama’s Veruna Dome, Fukuoka’s PayPay Dome, and Kyocera Dome Osaka. The latest stop was Tokyo’s Ajinomoto Stadium and Osaka’s Yanmar Stadium Nagai, both large venues boasting a capacity of over 50,000, and ENHYPEN performed twice at each venue. This proved their immense popularity and influence in Japan.
″Summer Edition″ marked a milestone for ENHYPEN, marking the shortest stadium concert period for an international artist, at 4 years and 7 months. The August 2nd concert was live streamed online in 56 countries and regions worldwide, and the August 3rd concert was screened live in 112 movie theaters across Japan. This allowed fans who couldn’t attend the concert to enjoy the show in person.
During this concert, ENHYPEN passionately performed 26 songs over approximately three hours, connecting with the audience. They performed a variety of songs, including ″Shine On Me,″ the title track of their fourth single released in Japan, as well as ″Brought The Heat Back,″ ″ParadoXXX Invasion,″ ″Future Perfect (Pass the MIC),″ ″Fatal Trouble,″ and ″Bite Me.″ The concert featured giant water cannons, fireworks that illuminated the sky, and a live band that boasted a rich sound, enhancing the immersive experience of this summer outdoor concert.
The members used the Osaka dialect during the concert to connect with local fans, and they created special memories by using a mobile vehicle to tour the venue and play with water guns. Fans responded to ENHYPEN’s passionate performance with explosive cheers and Korean cheers throughout the concert.
After the concert, ENHYPEN shared their thoughts, saying, ″’Summer Edition’ flew by. It was a special summer concert, and I think it will be memorable and missed.″ They continued, ″You guys made the stadium concert possible, but we believe it’s our role to ensure that we can continue performing at large venues in the future. We will work hard to continue the precious opportunity you’ve given us.″
ENHYPEN will continue their world tour in 10 cities, starting with Belmont Park in New York on August 6th and 7th, followed by Chicago (9th), Houston (12th-13th), Los Angeles (16th), London (22nd), Manchester (25th), Amsterdam (28th), Brussels (30th), Berlin (September 1st), and Paris (September 3rd).
