[The Fact | Reporter Choi Hyun-jung] Group i-dle will release their first album since their rebranding.

On October 4th, Cube Entertainment announced, "i-dle will release their first EP album 'i-dle' in Japan on October 3rd following their name change."

This album marks i-dle's first new album in Japan in five years and the first album to use their team name as the title since their rebranding.

"i-dle" contains a total of five tracks, including three new songs, including the title track "What Should I Do?" (どうしよっかな), and Japanese versions of "Queencard" and "I Hate Being Hurt (Fate)." The title track, "What Should I Do?", was written and composed by Soyeon herself, capturing the unique sensibility of i-dle.

With the album release, i-dle will embark on their first Japanese tour. They will kick off their tour at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama on October 4th, followed by the Kobe Glion Arena on October 18th and 19th. They will also kick off their Japanese activities in earnest with various commemorative promotions, including fan signings, in Tokyo and Osaka.

Local interest in i-dle is also strong. Last March, the kids made a surprise appearance on the Japanese TBS morning variety program "Rabbit!" (LOVE it!), topping social media trends. Last month, they performed live on NHK's "Venue 101."

Meanwhile, the kids will perform on the stage of Japan's largest music festival, "SUMMER SONIC 2025," on the 16th and 17th.
