SEVENTEEN’s survival game has been revealed. On August 6th, SEVENTEEN released ″EP. 130 WATER BATTLEGROUNDS #1″ from their original content ″GOING SEVENTEEN″ on their official channel. This episode features a water gun survival game where players collect and equip offensive and defensive items and engage in battle to determine the last survivor, embodying the rules of a battle royale game. The unique playstyles of each member were a highlight.
Starting with no items, Seungkwan appealed to Joshua for survival, asking, ″Can’t we find a little warmth in this harsh world?″ Mingyu even took on the role of subordinate, creating a humorously poignant scene. Jun’s stealth play, Dino’s retreat at a crucial moment due to a lack of water, and Vernon’s observation from the shadows, all revealed the members’ personalities throughout the episode.
Having learned the rules, the members gradually formed teams and launched joint attacks. Dokyeom and Joshua’s alliance resulted in Hoshi being eliminated first. Mingyu accompanied Seungkwan, who was unarmed, to secure necessary equipment. The8, who was ambushed by S.Coups during a joint attack, teamed up with Woozi to prepare for the next move.
As the video concluded, the tension mounted as the battle area began to close in. With SEVENTEEN gathered in one place over a supply crate, the curiosity grew as to who would be the last survivor.
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN will be holding their ″SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_]″ at the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium on September 13th and 14th. This tour showcases SEVENTEEN’s new challenges and limitless potential. Following Incheon, the members will head to Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong, then to five cities in North America in October, and to four major Japanese domes in November and December.
