


BTS’ Jin has proven his immense popularity and live performance skills in the UK. Jin successfully completed his first solo fan concert and first solo world tour, ″Run Seok Jin Tour″ (#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR), at the O2 Arena in London on August 5th and 6th (August 6th and 7th, Korean time), from June 28th to August 10th. The show was sold out, with audiences lining up to purchase merchandise in high demand.
Jin delivered an unforgettable two-hour concert with flawless live performances and outstanding stage presence. During the concert, British fans enthusiastically responded to Jin, including a slogan event, and he expressed his gratitude and love in English, making heart-shaped signs. The O2 Arena’s official account announced that additional tickets were released due to high demand for Jin’s performance.
The official TouringAsiaPop account reported that Jin is the first Asian solo artist to headline the O2 Arena for two consecutive years and the first Asian solo artist to sell out tickets at the arena. Jin is also the first BTS member to hold a solo tour in London and holds the record for the largest single-day audience outside of Asia. TouringAsiaPop added that Jin continues to set new records by giving European fans a truly epic solo performance.
The official Pop Core account also reported that Jin made history as the first Asian solo artist to perform back-to-back at the O2 Arena in London. The O2 Arena’s official Instagram account shared a video of Jin’s concert, captioning it, ″The night with Jin was truly amazing,″ with a heart emoji. Jin continues to sell out every venue he performs at on his ″Run Seok Jin Tour.″
Jin began his tour in South Korea on June 28th and has since completed shows in Chiba and Osaka, Japan; Anaheim, Dallas, Tampa, and Newark, USA; and London, England. Following this, they will perform in Amsterdam, Netherlands on August 9th and 10th (August 10th and 11th, Korean time), and will hold a total of 18 performances in 9 cities. Jin’s performance at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, Netherlands on August 10th (Korean time) will be broadcast live. The live viewing will be broadcast simultaneously in movie theaters in over 80 countries and regions around the world, and in Asia, including Korea, the broadcast will be delayed due to time differences. In Korea, the film will be screened at three major multiplex theaters: CGV, Lotte Cinema, and Megabox. CGV Yeouido opened additional ticket sales on the 5th.
