Singer Lim Young-woong’s fan club, the Youngwoong Sidae Gyeonggi East Support Group, has donated 10 million won to assist victims of heavy rain in the Pocheon area. This generous contribution was made in celebration of Lim Young-woong’s 9th debut anniversary. The Gyeonggi Community Chest of Korea’s Northern Business Division announced the donation on the 8th.
The Youngwoong Sidae Gyeonggi East Support Group comprises fans from Guri, Namyangju, Yangpyeong, and Hanam. Members of the fan club pooled their resources to extend Lim Young-woong’s positive influence to those in need. The funds will specifically aid residents in Pocheon, Lim Young-woong’s hometown, who have been affected by the recent heavy rains.
In August, the Youngwoong Sidae Gyeonggi East Support Group also donated food to support those in need in Pocheon, marking Lim Young-woong’s debut anniversary. Kim Jin-ju, head of the charity, expressed pride in contributing to society, stating, ″I decided to donate to support singer Lim Young-woong’s positive influence by releasing an album in book form, rather than a CD, and to address environmental issues.″
Lee Kyung-ah, head of the Northern Business Division, praised the Youngwoong Era for their commitment to philanthropy and fostering a healthy fandom culture. She emphasized the importance of sharing positive energy and love with those affected by the floods.
In related news, Lim Young-woong is set to release his second full-length album, ″I’m Hero 2,″ on the 29th of this month in book format to minimize plastic waste. He also plans to embark on a nationwide concert tour starting in October, continuing his active engagement with fans this year.
