Singer Lim Young-woong’s fans made a significant donation to celebrate the 9th anniversary of his debut. The fan club, ″Heroes’ Generation Gwangju-Jeonnam Starlight Room,″ visited the Gwangju Infant Temporary Shelter on August 7th, contributing funds for its new construction. This donation, amounting to 3 million won, was raised voluntarily by fan club members to honor Lim Young-woong’s milestone.

This marks the fourth occasion that ″Heroes’ Generation Gwangju-Jeonnam Starlight Room″ has supported the Gwangju Infant Temporary Shelter. The fan club has consistently visited the shelter each year, providing various forms of assistance to children in need. Their ongoing commitment has been recognized as a commendable example of community service.

Established in 1976, the Gwangju Infant Temporary Shelter offers temporary housing for children under three years old who are facing issues such as hunger, abuse, or neglect in the Gwangju-Jeonnam region. The organization focuses on facilitating domestic adoptions for children whose parental rights have been relinquished and aims to reunite separated children with their families. It serves as a specialized child protection agency, transitioning children to foster care or foster homes after their protection period concludes.
