Jang Seok-hyun, a former member of the mixed group Sharp, recently opened up about his recovery from the challenging times following the group’s disbandment. On the 7th, Lee Ji-hye shared a video titled ″Why Lee Ji-hye Betrayed Jang Seok-hyun of Sharp, Revealing for the First Time in 20 Years?″ on her personal YouTube channel, ″The Unlovable Kwanjong Sister.″
In the video, Lee Ji-hye meets Jang Seok-hyun, who collaborated with her husband Moon Wan-sik during their time in Sharp. Jang reflected on the disbandment, stating, ″I was exhausted from work and people. It was incredibly difficult.″ He admitted, ″Things weren’t going well. No matter how hard I tried, it just wouldn’t work out.″ Despite these challenges, Lee Ji-hye and Jang Seok-hyun worked on an album together under the name ″Ban Sharp,″ but ultimately, Jang chose to pursue a solo career.
Jang Seok-hyun took up guitar, a skill he had never learned before, and contributed to the album’s production, but encountered numerous obstacles along the way. He shared, ″I fell down and got hurt,″ and expressed his disappointment over Lee Ji-hye’s solo album not succeeding. Jang revealed, ″I actually cursed her a lot. When things were going well for you, I strangely began to harbor resentment, not just resentment. The arrows were aimed at you.″
He also discussed his lesser-known days as an actor, recalling, ″Chun Jung-myung was also in the dorm with me. If I was sleeping, strangers would come by. I met Jung-myung that way too. It was like that for five or six years. I worked part-time as a bit part-timer and did a lot of different things.″
Jang explained his background further, saying, ″I thought I’d starve to death, so I went to work. I asked for even a part-time job and got involved. I ended up working in fashion production management.″
