Singer Young Tak shared his heartfelt feelings for his father, who is currently recovering from a stroke. On the KBS 2TV entertainment program ″Going Love, Coming Love, Lee Min-jung,″ which aired on the afternoon of the 8th, Young Tak joined fellow guest, Chinese chef Lee Kyung-rae.
During the show, Young Tak received a call from his father while enjoying kimchi pancakes with the cast. He affectionately told his father, ″I’m eating while filming right now.″ Boom, who answered the call, offered to visit, saying, ″Since you’ve come to Seoul, I’ll come with you to say hello,″ and even passionately sang Young Tak’s hit song, ″Why Are You Coming Out From There?″ However, Young Tak’s father did not respond, prompting Boom to explain, ″I think you hung up.″
Young Tak quickly returned the call, urging, ″Father, please take a break,″ before ending the conversation. He later shared, ″My father has difficulty moving. He struggles with mobility on his left side due to the stroke but manages to move around the house.″ He expressed relief, saying, ″He was in bed for a really long time, but it’s good to hear he’s calling me now. Fortunately, he’s feeling much better.″
Young Tak faced a lengthy period of obscurity after his debut in 2007. He shifted to trot music in 2016 and gained widespread recognition after winning TV Chosun’s singing competition ″Mr. Trot″ in 2020, showcasing his exceptional singing talent and rich voice.
