
BLACKPINK, consisting of members Jisoo, Rosé, Lisa, and Jennie, is set to release a new mini-album in November after a three-year hiatus. This upcoming album marks their first full-length release since ″BORN PINK,″ which debuted in September 2022.
Currently, BLACKPINK is on their world tour titled ″DEADLINE,″ which will wrap up with a performance in London on the 16th. Following this, the group will take a two-month break before resuming their tour in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, on October 18th. The album jacket photoshoot has already been completed, and the group is focused on finalizing the recording of new songs and the album within the next two months.
An insider revealed that BLACKPINK is under pressure to release an album this year. Although the initial plan was to launch in October, the schedule has shifted, and they are now targeting a November release, with potential performances on music shows.
On September 11th, BLACKPINK released their digital single ″JUMP,″ which was first performed during their tour at Goyang Stadium. The song has gained attention for its unique blend of a guitar riff reminiscent of a Western film and the members’ signature vocals. ″Run,″ another track from the group, topped Spotify’s Global Weekly Chart and reached number 18 on the UK Official Singles Chart, while also achieving the top spot on the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard’s Global Chart.
