TWS sells out 13 concerts in six Japanese cities

The group TWS has solidified their status as a rising K-pop sensation by attracting an audience of approximately 50,000 during their first tour, which coincided with their Japanese debut. The final concert of their ″2025 TWS TOUR ’24/7:WITH:US’ IN JAPAN″ took place at K-Arena Yokohama in Kanagawa Prefecture on the 9th and 10th, marking the conclusion of their month-long tour.

During the performance, TWS expressed their excitement about holding a solo concert in such a large venue. They thanked their fans, known as 42, for their unwavering support, stating that what once seemed impossible has now become a reality. Leader Shinyu announced that TWS would make a comeback in October, further thrilling the audience.

The tour began in Hiroshima on the 11th of last month, featuring 13 shows across six cities: Aichi, Fukuoka, Miyagi, Osaka, and Kanagawa. Most shows sold out, and additional limited-view seats were made available, underscoring the group’s popularity.

On stage, TWS exuded a free and relaxed energy, delivering a three-hour set that included 20 songs. Their lineup featured all of their debut singles, such as ″Nice to See You Again,″ ″BLOOM (feat. Ayumu Imazu),″ and the Japanese version of ″First Encounter Doesn’t Go as Planned,″ along with key releases like ″If I’m S, You Be My N,″ ″Isn’t It Cool to Follow Your Heart?″, ″Double Take,″ and ″Comma, (Comma,).″

A highlight of the concert was during the dance break of ″Freestyle,″ where member Jihoon showcased a new freestyle move at each performance. The members improvised various moves during the chorus of ″GO BACK,″ delighting fans with a mix of charm and powerful performances.

Throughout the tour, TWS’s passion was evident both on and off stage. They made appearances on popular terrestrial programs and local broadcasts, engaging with fans by learning local dialects and sharing stories about regional specialties. At the Kanagawa concert, they surprised the audience with a double encore, performing ″hey! hey!″ and the Japanese version of ″plot twist.″

Since their Japanese debut on the 2nd of last month, TWS has achieved remarkable success. Their first single, ″Nice to See You Again,″ topped the Oricon and Billboard Japan charts in its first week, earning four crowns and selling over 100,000 copies, which led to a Gold Disc certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan.

With their Japanese tour successfully concluded, TWS is set to perform at the ″ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2025,″ the largest music festival in Japan, at Soga Sports Park in Chiba City on September 15th.
