Singer Lim Young-woong has made waves in the music industry with the release of his second full-length album in a unique book format instead of the traditional CD. In a show of support, fans have donated funds to cover the album’s cost, highlighting their collective impact. On August 12th, Lim Young-woong’s fan club, ″Youngwoong Sidae Ilsan Hebeoljjugwoong,″ contributed 3 million won to the Gyeonggi Community Chest of Korea.

The donation ceremony took place in the Gyeonggi Northern Fruit of Love conference room, attended by members of ″Youngwoong Sidae Ilsan Hebeoljjugwoong,″ including leader Kwon Ji-young and vice-leader Ha Ji-woo. Lee Kyung-ah, the director of the Gyeonggi Northern Fruit of Love headquarters, was also present. The funds raised by the fan club were intended to purchase the album, which Lim Young-woong released in photobook format to help reduce plastic waste.

Kwon Ji-young expressed, ″Inspired by our singer, our members have united to assist those in need within our community. We are committed to continuing our support for those less fortunate and to spreading this positive influence further.″

Lee Kyung-ah acknowledged the significance of the donation, stating, ″This contribution will greatly benefit underprivileged neighbors in our area. I appreciate Youngwoongsidae for setting an example in charitable giving and fostering a healthy fandom culture alongside the artist.″

″Youngwoongsidae Ilsan Hebeoljjugwoong″ is a fan group based in Ilsan, Goyang City, Gyeonggi Province. Since its establishment in the winter of 2022, the group has actively showcased Lim Young-woong’s positive influence by volunteering monthly at local welfare centers for individuals with disabilities.
