BTS Jin’s ″Don’t Say You Love Me″ has surpassed 400 million streams on Spotify. As of August 5th, the title track from Jin’s second solo album, ″Echo,″ achieved this milestone just three months after surpassing 300 million streams. This impressive feat highlights the ongoing support from fans worldwide since its release on May 16th.

Upon its release, ″Don’t Say You Love Me″ quickly topped various charts, making history for a solo artist. The song reached the Spotify Global Chart, becoming the first track by an Asian artist to achieve this in 2025. Jin’s success in Japan is particularly noteworthy, as ″Don’t Say You Love Me″ dominated the Spotify Top Songs Japan chart for 41 consecutive days, establishing him as the longest-running K-pop male solo artist on the Japanese Spotify chart.

The song also holds the record for the longest-running #1 position for a K-pop solo track without a featured artist, ranking second overall among K-pop solo artists, just behind Rosé & Bruno Mars’ ″APT.″ Jin is the only K-pop solo artist with two #1 songs in Spotify Japan’s history, following his earlier hit ″Running Wild″ in 2024.

The performance of the ″Echo″ album is equally impressive. According to US chart data, ″Echo″ became the top-selling album by a Korean solo artist in the US during the first half of 2025, despite its mid-May release. Additionally, ″Echo″ ranked second among Korean artists on Spotify’s ″Global Impact List″ for the same period, marking the highest position for a Korean male artist.

In a US Billboard poll, ″Echo″ was voted the favorite new song of the week, receiving an overwhelming 93% approval rating and outperforming global artists like Morgan Wallen and Rihanna. Jin’s ″Don’t Say You Love Me″ has also garnered acclaim for its musical excellence, with Rolling Stone noting that ″with this album, Jin elevates his style to the next level and exudes dazzling charm.″

Following his final concert in Amsterdam, Jin will head to the United States to prepare for BTS’s upcoming group album.
