[The Fact | Reporter Choi Hyun-jung] Singer Kang Daniel has proven his evolution as a 'performance artist.'
Kang Daniel successfully concluded his solo concert, 'ACT:NEW EPISODE,' at the Olympic Hall in Seoul's Olympic Park on the 9th and 10th.
This concert is the encore of his 'ACT' tour, which began in October of last year, and marks the start of an upgraded second act ahead of a US and South American tour.
Kang Daniel truly put his heart and soul into the scale and quality of his performance. He performed a total of 28 songs for 160 minutes without stopping, filling the venue with lights, lasers, and large LED screens, earning the title "a concert completed with light."
In particular, the three-dimensional images projected through a transparent curtain, combined with Kang Daniel's performance, blurring the lines between reality and the virtual world, creating a new sense of immersion. Kang Daniel personally brought out his beloved lightsaber, completing the climax with light.
"First performances" were also abundant. The first live performances of all tracks from his new album "Glow to Haze," including "Love Game," which Kang Daniel participated in composing for the first time since his debut, and the Korean version of his Japanese single "RE8EL," were unveiled for the first time.
Kang Daniel expressed his sincere gratitude, saying, "Thanks to you, I was able to create precious memories in the places and on the stages I always wanted to be. This meaningful challenge will not stop, and 'ACT' will continue. I sincerely thank you."
Meanwhile, Kang Daniel will embark on a large-scale US tour starting in September, stopping in 12 major cities in the US. He will then continue the tour in South America, including Argentina and Brazil.
