[The Fact | Reporter Choi Hyun-jung] BTS's Jin has successfully concluded his fan concert tour.
On the 10th (local time), Jin held his fan concert, "#RUNSEOKJIN EP TOUR in AMSTERDAM," at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
This fan concert marked the final stop of a tour that began in Korea in June and continued to Japan, the US, and Europe. Jin performed a total of 18 shows in 9 cities during this tour.
Through this fan concert tour, Jin has once again proven his potential as a solo artist. He garnered attention as the first Korean singer to perform at The O2 Arena in London, England.
The concerts in Goyang, Korea, and Chiba and Osaka, Japan, were all sold out, and the Honda Center in Anaheim, USA, drew the largest audience ever for a Korean artist. The concert at the American Airlines Center in Dallas became the first sold-out concert for a Korean solo artist.
International media outlets also highlighted Jin's fan concerts. Rolling Stone UK gave Jin a perfect 5-star rating, stating, "This isn't just any K-pop concert. This is Kim Seok-jin's world, and he's anything but ordinary." The magazine continued, "The performances of tracks from his second mini-album 'Echo' exceeded expectations. The album, which encompasses a variety of genres, showcased Jin's diverse spectrum as a solo artist."
Furthermore, Jin's fan concerts were also widely covered and praised by publications such as the British music media NME, the Los Angeles Times, Forbes, and Japan's five major sports magazines.
Jin, who concluded his fan concert with the Amsterdam concert, shared his thoughts on the tour, saying, "The month-and-a-half tour has come to a close. The 'Run Seokjin' tour is the last, but a new beginning awaits with the team, so please don't be sad. I will always be by your side, and I hope you will always be by my side. I was so happy for the past month and a half, and I was able to grow even more thanks to the positive energy from ARMY (fandom name)."
Meanwhile, the '#RUNSEOKJIN EP TOUR' concept expands upon the worldview of Jin's YouTube content 'Run Seokjin.'
