
BTS member Jimin has achieved a remarkable milestone. His second solo album, ″Muse,″ has surpassed 1.9 billion streams on Spotify, the world’s largest music platform, with the title track ″Who.″ Released in July of last year, ″Who″ has made history by remaining on Billboard’s Hot 100 for 33 weeks, marking it as the longest-charting song by a K-pop solo artist. The track continues to perform well on the Global 200 and Global (Excl. US) charts, highlighting its widespread popularity.
At the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards, Jimin was honored with the title of ″K-Pop Song of the Year″ for ″Who.″ This accolade underscores the significant achievements of K-pop artists in the global music scene. Additionally, he received a nomination for ″Best K-Pop″ at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards, announced on August 5th. The MTV VMAs are set to take place at the UBS Arena in New York City on September 7th.
Jimin completed his military service on June 11th, having served in the 5th Infantry Division in Yeoncheon County, Gyeonggi Province. He enlisted as an active-duty soldier on December 12th, 2023, and dedicated one year and six months to his service. Following his discharge, Jimin has reconnected with his fans and is preparing for a full comeback with BTS next spring. He has traveled to the United States to work on the group’s new album.
