The current status of Astro member and actor Cha Eun-woo, who is serving in the military, has been revealed. On the 13th, the Army Training Center website shared photos of trainees undergoing basic military training at the Nonsan Army Training Center in South Chungcheong Province, featuring Cha Eun-woo wearing the armband of a company commander.

Cha Eun-woo has drawn attention for his striking visuals in a sharp beret and military uniform. He entered the training center on the 28th of last month and, after completing basic training, plans to continue his active duty in the Army Band.

Since his enlistment, updates on Cha Eun-woo’s status have surfaced multiple times. Astro member Yoon San-ha mentioned on a fan communication platform that Cha Eun-woo recently sent a message in their group chat, asking about fellow member Myung-jun and requesting help. Yoon San-ha noted, ″My brother, who is physically fit, seems to be adjusting well.″

Recent updates from Cha Eun-woo’s training camp have sparked discussions in online communities. One netizen, claiming to be a cook at the same camp, commented, ″I don’t know if he volunteered for the cleaning crew, but he was diligently washing dishes. I wonder if it’s okay for a tough guy to be this handsome.″ Another netizen shared, ″I first heard about Cha Eun-woo through my boyfriend, who was also training. Cha Eun-woo is scheduled to be discharged on January 27, 2027.
