
Singer Lim Young-woong is set to travel to a rural village alongside YouTuber Gwak-geul, chef Lim Tae-hoon, and actor Lee Yi-kyung for the new SBS variety show ″Island Bachelor Hero,″ premiering on the 26th at 9 p.m. The production team released a teaser on the 13th, showcasing Lim Young-woong and his friends enjoying a simple yet delightful time on an island.
″Island Bachelor Hero″ is a healing variety show where Lim Young-woong and his companions live as ″pollution-free island bachelors.″ The show aims to help them escape the complexities of daily life and enjoy a leisurely experience, bringing laughter and heartwarming moments to viewers. The cast features Lim Young-woong, Gwak-geul, chef Lim Tae-hoon—known as the ″Iron Bag Chef″ from the Netflix show ″Black and White Chef: Culinary Class War″—and actor Lee Yi-kyung.
The teaser video opens with the four friends gathered around a table, sharing a meal and engaging in relaxed conversation. When Lim Tae-hoon comments, ″It’s nice to have a meal together,″ Lim Young-woong responds with satisfaction, saying, ″This is what we came here for.″ Lim Tae-hoon then playfully suggests, ″Talk about science to your heart’s content tonight,″ prompting Lim Young-woong to quip, ″Do you want to go to bed early tonight?″ This exchange builds anticipation for their chemistry throughout the show.
In another segment, Lim Young-woong delivers an impromptu live performance at the request of his friends.
