Singer Yang Joon-il's positive influence reached seniors living alone in remote mountain villages.
On the 13th, a summer nutrition sharing event organized by "Yang Joon-il Angels" was held at the Goje-myeon Administrative Welfare Center in Geochang-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do. This event, part of the "Fan N Star - Angel N Star" project, was designed to help seniors living alone in the sweltering heat of midsummer recover their energy levels.
Volunteers who participated in the event personally delivered the nutrition to the seniors' homes, checking in on their well-being and chatting with them. One senior from Geochang County beamed, "It gives me strength to know you came from so far away."
Jeong Se-hwan, the head of Goje-myeon, said, "The warm hearts of fans toward Yang Joon-il were conveyed to the elderly, and they were very happy," and added, "I hope that this kind of sharing will continue and revitalize the local community." Song Deok-seop, the head of the Goje-myeon village chief association, said, "There are many elderly people in Sagwagol Goje-myeon who have been farming Goje Haetdaji apples their entire lives. Among them, the sharing with low-income seniors living alone made it an even more meaningful time," he said, adding, "I express my deepest gratitude to Yang Joon-il Angel."
