Fashion magazine Harper’s Bazaar Korea has revealed its September cover featuring RM from the popular boy group BTS. The three covers and preview images released on the 7th showcase RM’s confident demeanor, captivating fans with his striking presence.
In an interview, RM discussed the challenges of representing a brand, saying, ″It’s truly challenging.″ He reflected on his past desire to be photogenic, recalling how he practiced various facial expressions and poses in front of the mirror. While he now finds the experience of being photographed more burdensome, he also expressed pride and happiness, stating, ″It was a comfortable experience because I was working with a medium I love, the photographer, and the staff.″
When asked about the moments he feels most alive, RM shared, ″As RM of BTS, it’s when I’m performing, or when I just released an album, or when I’m standing in front of my fans with confidence and pride.″ He also mentioned that as Kim Namjoon, he feels most himself when surrounded by loved ones and in moments of authenticity. He added, ″Doing what I want in a place where no one recognizes me″ brings him joy, noting that traveling is the closest experience to that, although he often longs to return home quickly. RM emphasized, ″Being able to work on music again makes me feel alive.″
The September issue of Harper’s Bazaar Korea features RM’s new look, along with a pictorial and various content available on Instagram and the magazine’s website.
