BTS’ Jin tops August boy group brand reputation rankings.


In a recent big data analysis of individual brand reputations for boy group members in August 2025, BTS’s Jin secured the top position. The Korea Enterprise Reputation Research Institute conducted this analysis, which examined brand data from 755 boy group members between July 16 and August 16, 2025. A total of 87,691,981 brand data items were analyzed, marking a 3.29% increase from the previous month’s 84,897,759 items.

The brand reputation index reflects the influence of consumer online behavior on brand consumption. It includes participation, media, communication, and community indices, measuring both positive and negative evaluations, media interest, and consumer engagement. Additionally, brand value assessments and qualitative evaluations by brand reputation monitors are incorporated, with recommendation indices also factored into the overall score.

The top 30 rankings for boy group individual brand reputations in August 2025 feature Jin from BTS, G-Dragon from Big Bang, Cha Eun-woo from Astro, and several other prominent figures. Jin achieved a brand reputation index of 4,961,133, which includes a participation index of 237,313, a media index of 231,851, a communication index of 1,691,304, and a community index of 2,800,665. This represents a 3.54% increase from July’s index of 4,791,370.

G-Dragon, who ranked second, recorded a brand reputation index of 4,414,777, with notable scores in participation, media, communication, and community indices. This reflects a 3.25% increase from July. Cha Eun-woo from Astro ranked third with a brand reputation index of 4,390,489, showing a 4.69% increase compared to the previous month.

BTS’s Jimin and V followed closely, with Jimin’s index at 4,385,053, marking an 18.03% decrease from July, while V’s index rose to 3,926,662, a significant 36.18% increase. Koo Chang-hwan, the director of the Korea Enterprise Reputation Research Institute, noted that the analysis indicates a 21.19% increase in brand consumption overall, alongside variations in brand communication and diffusion.

The analysis highlighted that Jin’s brand received high scores for keywords such as ″unique,″ ″sold out,″ and ″expand.″ The keyword analysis also pointed to strong associations with ″world tour,″ ″don’t say you love me,″ and ″concert.″ The positive-negative ratio analysis revealed a remarkable 94.30% positive response rate. The top 100 rankings for boy group individual brand reputations in August 2025 included a diverse array of artists, showcasing the competitive landscape of the industry.
