The group &TEAM has achieved a significant milestone by releasing their first million-seller album since their debut. The Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) announced that &TEAM’s third single, ″Go in Blind,″ surpassed one million cumulative units shipped as of July, earning a ″Million″ certification. The RIAJ awards certifications based on cumulative album shipments each month, with categories including ″Gold″ for over 100,000 units, ″Platinum″ for over 250,000 units, ″Double Platinum″ for over 500,000 units, ″Triple Platinum″ for over 750,000 units, and ″Million″ for over one million units.

Previously, &TEAM achieved a double crown with ″Go in Blind,″ topping both the ″Weekly Combined Singles Ranking″ and ″Weekly Singles Ranking″ on the Oricon chart dated May 5th. The points earned during that period were the highest among male artists this year. The group expressed their excitement, stating, ″We’ve achieved our long-held goal of reaching ’Million’ on our third debut anniversary. Thanks to our fans, LUN, we’ve come this far. We will continue to do our best to be artists our fans can be proud of.″

&TEAM’s growth in Japan is notable. In 2024 alone, they released four albums and appeared on over 300 Japanese TV programs, showcasing their active presence in the industry. As a result, by October 2024, the number of followers on their official social media accounts had nearly doubled.

In April, when ″Go In Blind″ was released, their monthly Spotify listenership increased by approximately 1.8 times compared to the same period last year. With their rapid expansion in recognition and influence, &TEAM has solidified their position with their latest album, setting a new personal record.

The band recently completed their first Asian tour, which included nine cities and attracted around 100,000 fans. They will conclude the tour with the largest encore performance in the band’s history at the Saitama Super Arena in Japan on October 25th and 26th.
