With ″Seven,″ Jungkook has set a new milestone, becoming the first Asian solo artist to remain on the Global 200 and Global (Excl. US) charts for 107 and 108 weeks, respectively. This accomplishment further cements his status as a global superpop star. Previously, he achieved the top positions on both charts with ″Seven,″ ″3D,″ and ″Standing Next to You.″
According to Billboard’s official website, Jungkook has spent a total of 242 weeks on the Global 200 and 291 weeks on the Global (Excl. US) charts. ″Seven″ debuted at number one on Billboard’s Hot 100, where it maintained its position for an impressive 15 weeks. The song also dominated Spotify’s Weekly Top Songs Global chart for a record-breaking 109 consecutive weeks, establishing itself as a global mega-hit.
″Seven″ has amassed over 2.493 billion streams on Spotify, achieving this milestone in record time for an Asian song and is close to reaching 2.5 billion streams. Additionally, ″Seven″ was named the number one song on Billboard’s ’2023 Global Summer Song’ and topped the ’2024 International Power Players’ list, which recognizes the most popular songs across more than 200 countries and regions worldwide, excluding the United States.
