Under the slogan ″Fandom Experience for All,″ the Jeju Tourism Organization is introducing a special program for wheelchair-using K-pop fans. This initiative aims to create an inclusive environment where everyone can enjoy the festivities without physical barriers. The ″Equal Sign Tour,″ developed in partnership with T’way Air and a wheelchair-friendly travel agency, will offer a unique three-night, four-day trip for three wheelchair-using Hallyu fans and their companions, departing from Singapore to visit Jeju.
A representative from the Jeju Tourism Organization emphasized the significance of this event, stating, ″This is a meaningful attempt to provide a new fandom experience that connects global Hallyu fans with Jeju’s local culture.″ He further noted, “We aim to offer participants a fresh form of Korean Wave tourism that allows them to immerse themselves in Jeju’s ecology and culture while interacting with local residents.”
