Virtual idol group PLAVE has launched their first Asia tour since debuting. From August 15th to 17th, they held the ″2025 PLAVE Asia Tour - DASH: Quantum Leap in Seoul″ at the KSPO Dome in Olympic Park. This concert marks a significant milestone as PLAVE’s first Asia tour in two years, with plans to connect with fans across six Asian cities, starting in Seoul. The Seoul concert is particularly noteworthy as PLAVE became the first virtual idol group to perform at the KSPO Dome, often considered the ″dream stage″ for Korean artists. The fan club pre-sale tickets for all three shows sold out quickly, reflecting the high demand even before the event kicked off.
As the opening VCR played, the tour’s concept of ″gravity″ captivated the audience, officially launching the concert. PLAVE opened with a vibrant performance of ″Watch Me Woo!″ from their second mini-album. Addressing the packed venue, they expressed their excitement, stating, ″We’re finally entering the KSPO Dome after just two years since our debut,″ and bowed deeply to show their gratitude.
The group showcased their lively charm with ″Virtual Idol,″ a track from their second mini-album, followed by performances of various genres including ″RIZZ,″ ″Island,″ and ″12:32 (A to T).″ During ″Island,″ member Ha Min delivered a romantic piano performance that resonated with the audience. The choreography for ″RIZZ,″ unveiled for the first time, drew enthusiastic cheers with its unique and distinctive moves.
PLAVE explained the concert’s title, noting that ″’Quantum Leap’ signifies a leap forward,″ reflecting their ambition to transcend the label of virtual idols and evolve as artists. A vertical stage emerged in the middle of the audience, and the group returned to perform a ballad arrangement of ″Sixth Summer,″ perfectly suited for the hot season.
The heartfelt performance continued with ″FROM,″ expressing sincere love among members, and ″Dear.PLLI,″ a touching message to fans. The stage design, featuring dynamic lighting and immersive scenes like the deep sea and torrential rain, enhanced the experience. Following their second mini-album’s title track ″WAY 4 LUV,″ the choreography team delivered an impressive acrobatic display. Amidst a powerful melody and red lighting, PLAVE performed ″Dash,″ telling a dramatic story as they engaged the audience.
Notably, they showcased a striking transformation, emphasizing their masculine charm with a new hairstyle, facial scar makeup, and stylish sukajan jackets. This was followed by a performance of ″Chroma Drift,″ featuring a captivating car scene, and a unique band version cover of BLACKPINK’s ″Pink Venom.″
The latter part of the concert included the ″NO DEVELOP, NO PLAVE″ segment, where members paired up for challenges like the ″Unit Challenge″ and ″Camera Challenge.″ They highlighted their individual personalities through diverse performances, including Bambi and Eunho’s ″Pookie,″ Noah and Hamin’s ″Famous,″ and Yejun and Eunho’s ″Isn’t It Love?″ (Vocal Challenge). The energy peaked with ″I Just Love Ya″ and ″Pump Up The Volume!″ as PLAVE concluded the main concert with their debut song ″Gidareulge″ (Waiting for You) and ″Pixel World.″
Even after the lights dimmed, the audience continued to sing along, calling for an encore. PLAVE returned to the stage with ″Why Why Why?″ to maintain the momentum and took a commemorative photo, creating lasting memories of their first full-length concert. They bid farewell with, ″We’ll have a great time on our Asia tour. Just wait a little longer and we’ll be back soon,″ before performing the final encore songs, ″Merry PLLIstmas″ and ″Our Movie.″
As the group exited, ″CURTAIN CALL″ played, and handwritten letters from the members were projected onto the screen, filling the concert hall with emotion until the end. The final performance on the 17th received enthusiastic cheers, especially with the announcement of an encore concert in Seoul at Gocheok Sky Dome on November 21st and 22nd. PLAVE’s first Asia tour, ’DASH: Quantum Leap,’ will continue in Taipei on August 23rd and 24th, Hong Kong on October 1st, Jakarta on October 18th, Bangkok on October 25th, and Tokyo on November 1st and 2nd.
