Singer Lim Young-woong’s fan club, ″Laon,″ is actively engaged in volunteer efforts for children with severe disabilities. On August 16th, the group held its 50th meal service and donation event at Rodem’s House in Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi Province, contributing a total of 2.33 million won.

Every month, ″Laon″ donates meals and various supplies to Rodem’s House, while also volunteering in the kitchen to prepare and serve food. This August, in celebration of Lim Young-woong’s 9th debut anniversary, they created a special menu featuring a variety of dishes and even made commemorative rice cakes.

A representative from ″Laon″ shared insights into their meticulous approach to volunteering, stating, ″Since Rodem’s House serves children with severe disabilities, we carefully select menus and purchase food. We buy large quantities based on the menus chosen the day before, and on the day of service, we load the ingredients and snacks and head to Yangpyeong early in the morning to prepare the meals.″ They dedicated themselves to cooking, making soups, stir-fries, and various pancakes despite the summer heat.

″Laon″ emphasized their commitment as fans of Lim Young-woong, who embodies the value of togetherness, saying, ″We strive to provide warmth to those in need.″ Their monthly volunteer efforts extend to underprivileged areas and communities that are often overlooked.

Over the past 51 months, ″Laon″ has not only supported Rodem’s House but has also provided meals and donations to promote youth independence through organizations such as Jjokbangchon, Yongsan Box Village, the Seoul Children’s Welfare Association, and ″People Who Sell Hope.″ Through these initiatives, their total donations have reached 180.72 million won.

As dedicated fans of Lim Young-woong, the ″Laon″ fan club remains committed to fulfilling their social responsibility and providing ongoing support to those in need. They intend to continue their volunteer work in the future.
