TXT has demonstrated their ongoing popularity in the Japanese music market. Their fourth full-length album, ″The Dream Chapter: Together,″ recently topped the weekly album rankings, as reported by Oricon. The album sold 304,000 copies between August 11th and 17th, marking the highest weekly sales in the group’s history.
Even after the official promotions for the album ended, TXT reclaimed the top position just three weeks later, showcasing their strong fan base and lasting appeal. Since first reaching the top of the Oricon weekly album chart in 2020 with ″The Dream Chapter: ETERNITY,″ TXT has achieved a remarkable total of 12 albums at the top.
Following the release of ″Minisode 2: Thursday’s Child″ in 2022, TXT has established themselves as the international artist with the most consecutive number-one albums. Each comeback has set new records, further solidifying their status in the Japanese market.
TXT will launch their fourth world tour, ″Act: Tomorrow,″ at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on September 22nd and 23rd. After that, they will perform nine shows across seven cities in the US, starting in San Jose, and will follow up with six shows in three cities in Japan. These performances aim to connect with their global fandom, MOA, through engaging encounters.
The latest album and world tour present opportunities for TXT to enhance their musical achievements and strengthen their connection with fans. Building on their success in Japan, they are expected to continue diverse activities in the future.
