Nam Woohyun held his solo concert, ″Arbor Day 5 - Tree High School,″ at the Olympic Hall in Seoul’s Olympic Park on August 16th and 17th. This event marked his first solo concert in about 10 months, following last year’s ″Arbor Day 4 - Tree World,″ and tickets sold out almost instantly. For fans who couldn’t attend in person, both performances were live streamed on the fromm website.

The concert kicked off with a VCR featuring Lee Junyoung, a colleague from Nam Woohyun’s agency, who captivated the audience with his charm. His connection to his character from the Netflix original series ″Weak Hero Class 2″ added to the concert’s lively atmosphere. Nam Woohyun took on the roles of both a student teacher and a student at Namu High School, showcasing his diverse talents and earning enthusiastic applause from fans around the world.

On the first day, Nam Woohyun greeted the crowd as a student teacher, eliciting cheers with his introduction: ″I’ve come to Namu High School to do my internship as a student teacher.″ He entertained fans with a morning assembly and performances themed around various subjects like art, music, and physical education. On the second day, he switched roles to become the student body president, encouraging the audience to find their composure after the excitement of the student teachers.

Throughout the concert, Nam Woohyun performed a range of songs, including ″Boyfriend,″ ″Dazzled,″ and ″Shooting Star.″ His live rendition of the title track ″Only Straight″ from his fifth mini-album, ″Tree Ring,″ particularly captivated the audience. He engaged with fans by walking around the auditorium, holding hands, and taking photos, providing a memorable fan service experience.

The concert’s dress code was school uniforms, and fans showcased their creativity with unique outfits. Nam Woohyun acknowledged their efforts by selecting the best-dressed fan, who received signed CDs and Polaroid photos, adding a personal touch to the event. During the show, a video featured Nam Woohyun visiting the lunchroom to introduce various drink and snack combinations.

The concert lasted approximately four hours, including an encore and a second encore, creating an exhilarating atmosphere for the audience. As the event concluded, Nam Woohyun expressed his heartfelt gratitude, stating, ″Words alone are not enough to thank our new fans. We will continue to deliver great performances, songs, and concerts.″ Notably, the second day coincided with the anniversary of INFINITE’s official fan club, INSPIRIT, which made the occasion even more special.

Following this successful concert in Seoul, Nam Woohyun will continue his Asian tour, with upcoming performances scheduled in Macau on September 14, Taipei on October 19, Kuala Lumpur on the 25th, Manila on November 15, and Hong Kong on the 22nd and 23rd.
