
TXT is set to release their third full-length album in Japan, titled ″Starkissed,″ on October 22nd. To celebrate the launch, they will hold a showcase that day to connect with local fans. This album marks their first full-length Japanese release in nearly two years, following ″SWEET.″
″Starkissed″ features the title track ″Beautiful Strangers,″ which is also part of their fourth full-length album, ″Star Chapter: TOGETHER,″ released in Korea in July. Additionally, it includes ″Song of the Star,″ the Japanese version of ″Star Song,″ along with three new original Japanese tracks, bringing the total to 12 tracks.
TXT has been enjoying sustained popularity in Japan, with their fourth full-length album achieving remarkable success. It topped the Oricon Weekly Album Rankings, reaching the number one spot in its first week with an impressive 313,037 points, and reclaimed the top position three weeks later. The album also led the ″Weekly Album Rankings″ during the same timeframe.
The album’s success continued as it regained the top position on Billboard Japan’s ″Top Album Sales″ chart for the August 20th issue after a three-week break. ″Star Chapter: TOGETHER″ is also performing well on Billboard’s charts, having charted at number 125 on the Billboard 200 for three consecutive weeks, while remaining in the top 10 for ″World Albums″ (number 2), ″Top Album Sales″ (number 7), and ″Top Current Album Sales″ (number 7).
Additionally, TXT ranked 62nd on the ″Artist 100,″ a chart that assesses an artist’s influence. Their success in the Japanese market is further solidifying their status as global artists.
