BTS’s live concert confirmed to be screened in 2,000 theaters across 65 countries.


BTS has unveiled an extensive project to screen live concerts in theaters worldwide. On the 20th, the group shared the main poster for ″BTS MOVIE WEEKS″ on their official social media, announcing that the special event will take place from September 24th to October 5th. This initiative will showcase BTS live concerts in over 2,000 theaters across more than 65 countries and regions, offering fans a unique experience.

″BTS MOVIE WEEKS″ will highlight four live concerts that reflect BTS’s growth and significant moments. The first concert featured is ″BTS 2016 Live 花樣年華 On Stage: Epilogue,″ which marks BTS’s debut at KSPO DOME. The second concert, ″BTS 2017 Live Trilogy EPISODE III THE WINGS TOUR THE FINAL,″ showcases the group’s ascent as a global artist following their Billboard Music Awards victory.

The third concert is ″BTS 2019 WORLD TOUR ’LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF’ LONDON,″ which commemorates BTS’s first solo concert at Wembley Stadium in the UK, attended by 120,000 fans over two days. The final concert is ″BTS 2021 MUSTER SOWOOZOO,″ a fan meeting that, despite the pandemic, attracted over 1.33 million viewers from 195 countries, highlighting BTS’s extensive global reach.

Big Hit Music expressed, ″We’ve prepared a project that will allow fans to relive BTS’s journey. We aim to recreate the emotions and energy of those moments on screen and share them with ARMY around the world.″ The films presented during ″BTS MOVIE WEEKS″ have been remastered in 4K ultra-high definition and 5.1 surround sound, providing a vivid and immersive experience that makes audiences feel as if they are in the concert hall.

In South Korea, the film will be screened at Megabox for about a month, from September 23rd to October 21st. Tickets will be available starting September 10th. On the opening day, September 23rd, a special screening will take place at COEX, featuring live performances from the four concerts. The first week will showcase concerts from 2016 and 2017, while the second week will highlight performances from 2019 and 2021. All films will be screened during the third and fourth weeks.
