This places the film fourth in all-time ticket sales, following ″Avengers: Endgame″ (2019) and ″Avengers: Infinity War″ (2018).
″Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba″ originated from a manga serialized in the Japanese weekly magazine ″Shonen Jump″ from 2016 to 2020. Created by Koyoharu Gotouge, the manga has sold over 220 million copies globally. It has emerged as a frontrunner in the ″Kijutop″ lineage of popular shonen manga, alongside titles like ″One Piece,″ ″Naruto,″ and ″Bleach.″
The TV series, which premiered in 2019, garnered immense popularity and was later adapted into an animated film.
