Young Tak confirmed to appear on a fundraising broadcast to help children in Uganda.

The Korean Committee for UNICEF has announced that the fundraising show ″Young Tak’s Hope Blues,″ featuring singer Young Tak, will air on JTBC at 10:30 AM on August 24th. This episode marks the launch of the fundraising series ″Project Blue,″ a collaboration between the Korean Committee for UNICEF and JTBC.

In ″Young Tak’s Hope Blues,″ Young Tak travels to Uganda to share the stories of local children. During his visit from June 1st to 6th, he explored a marble mine, a malnutrition treatment center, and a school, meeting children affected by poverty, malnutrition, and the climate crisis.

One poignant encounter was with Paska, a 10-year-old boy working in a marble mine to support his ailing mother. Young Tak worked alongside him, transporting marble, and gifted Paska a drawing he created to show his support.

Young Tak expressed his heartbreak at seeing Paska navigate hot, sharp rocks every day and stressed the importance of raising awareness and support for children who are forced to work instead of attending school.

This broadcast aims to shed light on the struggles faced by children and is part of a broader fundraising initiative. Young Tak hopes to raise awareness about the challenging circumstances children endure and inspire efforts to assist them.

″Young Tak’s Hope Blues″ is anticipated to enhance awareness of social issues beyond just fundraising. Young Tak’s visit to Uganda will provide a unique opportunity to amplify the voices of children in need.

The Korean Committee for UNICEF intends to use this broadcast to engage more people in recognizing the challenges children face and encourage them to contribute support. Viewers will learn how they can help children through Young Tak’s message during the broadcast on JTBC.

This fundraising effort will harness Young Tak’s popularity to promote awareness of UNICEF’s initiatives and the urgent need for child support. The Korean Committee for UNICEF hopes that this collaboration will lead to increased donations and interest in their cause.

Young Tak’s involvement demonstrates his commitment to social responsibility, extending beyond entertainment. He actively uses his influence to advocate for children’s rights and welfare.

This broadcast is part of ongoing efforts to improve children’s lives and is expected to positively impact many. The Korean Committee for UNICEF plans to continue its support for children through various campaigns.
