Defconn strongly criticized Mr. Kang’s remarks during the SBS Plus and ENA program ″I’m Solo, Then Love Continues,″ which aired on the 21st. The episode featured a one-on-one date involving Ok-soon from the 23rd, 24th, and 25th classes.
During the date, Mr. Kang posed a question to the female guests who had chosen him, asking, ″Could it be one or several?″ He responded to Ok-soon from the 25th class, saying, ″I have two.″ When she inquired if those two were among the three present, Mr. Kang replied, ″There is one,″ seemingly indicating Ok-soon from the 23rd class.
After the meal, Mr. Kang engaged in one-on-one conversations with the three Ok-soons. He began with Ok-soon from the 24th class, apologizing for making the conversation uncomfortable. However, she pointed out that his behavior had been problematic, stating, ″It was like that before.″
Mr. Kang reiterated a similar apology during his conversation with Ok-soon from the 25th class. After their discussion, Ok-soon from the 24th class questioned, ″Didn’t Mr. Kang say one person is here and one isn’t?″ She asked if that comment had offended her. Ok-soon from the 25th class responded, ″Not at all,″ expressing confusion over Mr. Kang’s apology.
Finally, Mr. Kang spoke with Ok-soon from the 23rd class, apologizing once more and saying, ″The two people before you started the same way.″ Defconn, observing the situation, interjected, ″Stop it, seriously.″ Ok-soon from the 23rd class attempted to comfort him, saying, ″Isn’t it like you have two people in mind?″ However, Mr. Kang expressed his displeasure, stating, ″How can you not care? I think a lot of people will criticize you.″ Ok-soon from the 23rd class retorted, ″Do you think this is all you’re going to criticize?″ Defconn added, ″That was a clear hit.″
After the conversation, while returning to the dorm, Mr. Kang attempted to speak with Ok-soon from the 23rd class, who was seated in the passenger seat. She struggled to respond and even said, ″Please don’t make me talk to you.″ Defconn lamented, ″What’s that? Don’t make me talk to you? Are you really here for love? Why are you acting like that?″ Ok-soon from the 24th class chimed in, ″Send me home,″ and Ok-soon from the 23rd class added, ″If that’s how you’re going to act, go home.″
This incident has sparked controversy regarding the complex emotional dynamics among the cast members and Mr. Kang’s communication style. Defconn’s criticism is seen as a reflection of the cast members’ dissatisfaction with Mr. Kang’s behavior, which may significantly influence the future direction of the program.
