Shoo, a former member of the girl group S.E.S., has addressed ongoing divorce rumors in a recent video on her YouTube channel, ″Human That’s Shoo,″ released on August 22nd. In the video, she and her husband, Lim Hyo-seong, openly discussed their relationship and the speculation surrounding their marriage.

The couple has a son in the third grade of middle school and twin daughters in the sixth grade of elementary school. Lim Hyo-seong emphasized his commitment to family, stating, ″I’m a family person. I’ve been married for four years.″ Shoo added, ″We’ve been friends for 11 years.″ However, Lim Hyo-seong also expressed that their feelings have changed over time, saying, ″We loved each other then, but not anymore. He was too kind then. He’s the devil now,″ while pointing at Shoo.

Lim Hyo-seong explained that they have not yet reached an agreement on child support, which has contributed to their current situation. ″That’s why we’re stuck together now,″ he noted, adding, ″It’s not an easy decision because our children are more important than our mutual hatred.″

Shoo mentioned that they rarely argue because they consider each other friends. Lim Hyo-seong candidly admitted, ″I try not to fight.″ He also acknowledged the reality of their relationship, stating, ″That’s how it is,″ in response to inquiries from acquaintances after the divorce news surfaced.

Shoo reassured her children by saying, ″Dad is Mom’s best friend forever,″ emphasizing their neutral relationship. However, Lim Hyo-seong countered, ″That’s not true for me. When the kids grow up, shouldn’t they live separately? We have too many differences. There are a lot of frustrating things.″

Lim Hyo-seong revealed that they have been living apart for about three to four years due to work commitments, describing their arrangement as that of a weekend couple. She also disclosed that she was recently told by a moving company to pick up her belongings, indicating that she had been effectively separated from the household.

Shoo debuted with S.E.S. in 1997 and married basketball player Lim Hyo-seong in 2010, welcoming their son the same year and their twin daughters in 2013. In 2019, she faced legal issues related to habitual gambling, receiving a suspended six-month prison sentence and community service.
