IVE will release their fourth mini-album, ″IVE Secret,″ on the 25th. This marks their first comeback in seven months and features six tracks, including the title track ″XOXZ.″ IVE made a significant impact on the K-pop scene in the first half of this year with hits like ″Revel Heart″ and ″Attitude.″

The album showcases a variety of songs, such as ″Wild Bird,″ ″Dear, My Feelings,″ ″Baddest Eros,″ ″♥beats,″ and ″Midnight Kiss.″ With ″IVE Secret,″ IVE aims to convey the coexistence of conflicting emotions, exploring themes of inner and outer self, good and evil, as well as arrogance and mischief.

The title track ″XOXZ″ conveys the message of ″I love you, good night, and see you in my dreams.″ Member Jang Won-young contributed to the lyrics, enhancing the song’s overall quality. Additionally, lyricist Seo Ji-eum’s involvement in the album strengthens IVE’s narrative of self-reflection. Seo Ji-eum previously collaborated with Jang Won-young on the title track ″Attitude″ from the earlier album ″IVE Empathy,″ achieving notable success.

Leeds also contributed lyrics for ″Midnight Kiss,″ adding depth to IVE’s musical style. ″IVE Secret″ delves into the emotional currents that lie beneath a vibrant exterior. Through this album, IVE intends to unveil the inner self that contrasts with their confident image and refresh their personal branding.
