The group Kortis recently shared their thoughts on being labeled the ″BTS younger brother group.″ During their appearance on KBS Cool FM’s ″Park Myung-soo’s Radio Show″ on the 25th, Kortis, a new boy group launched by Big Hit Music, the agency behind BTS, has been dubbed the ″second BTS.″

Member Martin expressed the pressure that comes with the comparison but emphasized his commitment to working hard. He acknowledged the significant influence of BTS and expressed his determination to carry on their legacy. Martin also revealed that his older sister, a longtime BTS fan, introduced him to the group, and he considers RM a key role model. He noted, ″I received a lot of advice from him as a leader, and I’m still working hard thanks to that guidance.″

Kortis is seen as a group with the potential to follow in BTS’s footsteps. They have attracted considerable attention even before their debut, as they work to carve out their own unique identity while following the successful path laid by BTS.

Other members of the group shared their individual stories as well. James highlighted their unique charms, saying, ″We each have our own unique charms. Gun Ho added, ″We will always work hard and want to show our fans the best side of ourselves.″

While influenced by BTS, Kortis is focused on developing their own distinct style. They are experimenting with various music genres and planning activities to strengthen their connection with fans.

During the broadcast, Kortis also discussed their future plans, including preparations for their official debut and events to engage with fans. Martin stated, ″We want to create precious moments with our fans. We will do our best for them.″
