[The Fact | Reporter Na-rae Lee] Group AHOF has topped the weekly idol ranking site 'Fan N Star' New Star Ranking for six consecutive weeks.
AHOF took first place with 241,700 votes in the 'Fan N Star' New Star Ranking poll for the third week of August, which ran from the 18th to the 25th. AHOF followed with 51,534 votes in second place, and Close Your Eyes came in third with 31,331 votes.
The New Star Ranking is a poll to select promising rookie idols debuting in 2023. If an artist ranks first on the New Star Rankings for five consecutive weeks (with a cumulative vote count of at least 2.5 million), Fan N Star will advertise on the electronic boards in the waiting rooms of 42 subway stations on Line 2 in Seoul. If an artist ranks first for ten consecutive weeks (with a cumulative vote count of at least 5 million), the announcement will be made through an M-Screen ad at Hongdae Station in Mapo-gu, Seoul.
Also, all artists who reach a certain number of votes, regardless of rank, will receive special benefits. Reaching 10 million cumulative votes will receive a special benefit on the Megabox Sinchon billboard in Mapo-gu, Seoul. Reaching 30 million cumulative votes will receive a special benefit on the Mirae Plaza billboard in Hongdae Station in Mapo-gu, Seoul. Reaching 70 million cumulative votes will receive a special benefit on the N-Square billboard in Hongdae Station in Mapo-gu, Seoul.
Following the news of Ahnup's first-place win, fans who participated in the vote sent congratulatory messages to the official Fan N Star text message box. One artist, nicknamed "Crookie," wrote, "Thank you for debuting."
