According to their agency HYBE Labels on the 22nd, "Gnarly," a track from KATSEYE's second mini-album "BEAUTIFUL CHAOS," surpassed 200 million streams on Spotify as of the 20th (local time). This milestone comes 113 days after its release on April 30th.

This marks the second time KATSEYE has achieved 200 million streams on Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform. "Touch," which has currently garnered over 400 million streams, took approximately 139 days to reach 200 million streams, but "Gnarly" achieved this milestone 26 days earlier.

"Gnarly" combines hyperpop with dance and funk elements for a bold sound. The psychedelic music video, the members' dynamic facial expressions, and their exceptional musical talent have contributed to its popularity, earning them much love from fans both domestically and internationally.

In addition to "Gnarly," Katseye's other hits, "Gabriela" and "Debut," have surpassed 100 million streams and are on the verge of reaching 200 million. "Gabriela," in particular, reached 100 million streams in just 38 days, faster than "Gnarly" (52 days).

Katseye's enduring popularity stems from their recent successful performances at renowned international festivals, including Lollapalooza Chicago and Summersonic 2025. They captivated audiences with their powerful and diverse performances, including "Gabriela," which maximized the passionate melody of Latin influences. The members were showered with praise on social media.

Katseye will hold a fan signing event in Seoul on the 22nd, reuniting with Korean fans after a three-month hiatus.
