
Seventeen's Jun meets audiences in theaters as actor Moon Jun-hwi. The action crime blockbuster film "Storm Chasing" has been invited to the Open Cinema section of the 30th Busan International Film Festival and will hold a stage greeting in Seoul ahead of its release on September 20. Director Larry Yang, who directed the film, producer Victoria Hong, who planned and oversaw the project, and Moon Jun-hwi, who takes on a villain role, will attend the stage greeting. They will share behind-the-scenes stories related to the film and sincere impressions.
"Storm Chasing" depicts the thrilling chase and action between a crime organization that bypasses advanced surveillance networks to steal billions of won and an elite surveillance team tracking them. World star Jackie Chan plays Hwang De-jung, a retired legendary tracking expert, delivering skillful and serious action performances. The leader of the crime organization, Pu Long-seng, is played by Yang Jia-hui, and newcomer police officer Heo Chu-gwo, who tracks the crime alongside Jackie Chan, is cast as Zhang Zifeng. Yang Jia-hui's adopted twin sons, Si-wang and Si-meng, are both portrayed by Tsu Sha in a dual role.
In particular, Seventeen member Jun (Moon Jun-hwi) appears as Yang Jia-hui's other adopted son, Hu Feng, challenging himself with a villain role. His appearance has raised fans' expectations. Director Larry Yang, who made his debut with "The Mountain Cries" in 2016, which was selected as the closing film of the 20th Busan International Film Festival, is visiting Busan for the second time with "Storm Chasing."
"Storm Chasing" has already proven its artistic quality and popularity by achieving high audience ratings and ranking among the top box office hits upon its release in China. Accordingly, interest among prospective domestic viewers is also increasing.
