The group Stray Kids' fourth full-length album, "KARMA," set the highest first-week sales record among K-pop albums released in 2025. Stray Kids made their comeback on August 22 with their first full album in over two years, "KARMA," and its title track "CEREMONY." According to Hanteo Chart, the album sold over 2 million copies in just one day, becoming a "double million-seller" on its release day. Over the course of a week, it recorded approximately 3.03 million album sales, making it the only album this year to surpass 3 million in first-week sales.

"KARMA" topped Hanteo Chart's weekly physical album chart (August 18–24, 2025) and Circle Chart's weekly retail album chart (August 17–23, 2025), as well as ranking first on Circle Chart's weekly album chart (August 17–23, 2025). The album also set multiple records on the global music platform Spotify. Stray Kids recently became the first 4th generation K-pop group to surpass 20 million followers.

Based on data from August 22 to 24, the new release "KARMA" ranked 2nd globally, 5th in the U.S., and 3rd in the U.K. on Spotify's "Top Album Debut" chart. The title track "CEREMONY" ranked 2nd globally, 2nd in the U.S., and 7th in the U.K. on the "Top Song Debut" chart. Notably, eight songs from the album entered the global top 10 of the "Top Song Debut" chart: "Ppichuri" at 3rd, "CREED" at 4th, "In My Head" at 6th, "MESS" at 7th, "Phoenix" at 8th, "Ghost" at 9th, and "Half Time" at 10th.

"KARMA" set the highest first-day and first-week streaming records for a K-pop group on Spotify in 2025. The title track "CEREMONY" became the most streamed song in its first week among K-pop boy groups in 2025. On August 22, "CEREMONY" recorded over 2.52 million streams, debuting at 27th on Spotify's Daily Top Songs Global chart, and Stray Kids remained on the chart for six consecutive days until August 27. This achievement made Stray Kids the K-pop boy group with the longest chart presence on this chart in 2025.

Stray Kids is also expecting their best performance yet on the UK Official Charts, one of the world's top three music charts. On August 26 (local time), they ranked 6th on the Official Trending Chart, which lists the 20 hottest new songs in the UK. The Official Charts Company stated via their official social media channels and website, "Stray Kids are expected to achieve their highest chart position this week with their new album 'KARMA.'" They added, "This could be a historic moment for Stray Kids, who have never previously entered the Official Albums Chart Top 10."

Stray Kids is scheduled to release the remix digital single "CEREMONY (Celebrate Remixes)" on August 29 at 1 PM KST (midnight Eastern Time). This album is expected to serve as an important milestone showcasing Stray Kids' musical growth.
