
The 9th episode of KBS2's 'Trot National Sports Festival' aired on the 30th at 10:30 PM. This episode featured the final story of the 4th round regional unified duet mission. Participants formed duets representing each region and performed on stage.
Seoul's Hangang and Chungcheong's Kim Sanha selected "Ilpyeondansim Mindeulleya" and delivered an emotional performance. They received high praise from Na Taeju, who said, "This is what a duet is," and scored 1,505 points, placing 3rd. Jang Hyunwook from Gyeonggi's 'Sangsang+' took 3rd place but was eliminated with regret, while Ban Gahi from Jeolla advanced to the semifinals. Jang Hyunwook expressed, "It was truly an enjoyable day by day."
Chungcheong's Sangho and Sangmin, and Gangwon's Alphabet competed under the team name 'Six Sense,' presenting a dazzling group dance along with their performance of "Dongbanja." They received unprecedented cheers but failed to enter the rankings; Sangho and Sangmin advanced to the semifinals.
Chungcheong's trot promising star Yoon Seoryeong and Jeju's Jeong Juhyeong chose "Within 10 Minutes," radiating bright energy. They scored 1,413 points, and only Jeong Juhyeong advanced to the semifinals. Yoon Seoryeong said, "I think I learned a lot while coming up. I will work hard to show a new Yoon Seoryeong later without giving up."
Gyeongsang's Jin Haeseong and Jeolla's Shin Seungtae from the 'Ttukebi' team presented a stage parodying the drama 'Goblin.' They gave a heavy resonance with "Rainy Gomoryeong," and Gangwon's director Kim Beomryong praised, "It felt like real tough men roaring." They scored 1,549 points, setting the highest score ever and taking 1st place.
As a result of the 4th round duet mission, 14 teams including Jin Haeseong, Shin Seungtae, Kim Yongbin, Kim Yungil, Min Suhyun, Park Yesul, Shin Mirae, Ban Gahi, Oh Yujin, Sangho & Sangmin, Jaeha, Jeong Juhyeong, Hangang, and Choi Hyang advanced to the semifinals. The semifinals will be held in two rounds, and only the top 8 teams will advance to the finals. The bottom 6 teams will be eliminated.
Choi Hyang took the first turn in the semifinals. She chose "Eolsso" and showed off her fresh charm. Seoul's director Juhyunmi praised her, saying, "She is like a chameleon," and Choi Hyang scored 1,938 points.
Kim Yongbin passionately sang "Million Roses," showcasing a poignant voice. Sangho and Sangmin demonstrated unwavering vocal power despite intense choreography with their "Coin Life" stage. Chungcheong's director Jo Hangjo praised, "Your singing has improved a lot. Now you are a singer, not a comedian." They scored 1,939 points, taking 1st place.
Trot princess Oh Yujin chose "Rainwater," displaying excellent sensitivity. Hong Kyungmin praised, "I think the words genius and prodigy are used at times like this," and Oh Yujin scored 1,972 points, taking 1st place.
Shin Mirae selected "Oppa is a Wind Instrument Player," showing off her charming voice and cute acting. She set a new 1st place record with 1,996 points. Jeong Juhyeong chose "Heavenly Reunion," delivering a storm of high notes and emotion, touching the audience and placing 3rd with 1,949 points.
