Singer Lim Young-woong is releasing a new full-length album after three years. On the 29th at 6 p.m., Lim Young-woong will release all tracks of his comeback album "IM HERO 2" on various online music platforms. This album is his first full-length album since his first album "IM HERO," released in May 2022. The fandom "Hero Era" has high expectations.

The album consists of a total of 11 songs. It includes a variety of tracks such as the title song "Like Eternity in a Moment," "Sent a Reply," "ULSSIGU," "I Will Become a Wildflower," "Because It Rains," "Wonderful Life," "A Melody for You," "Don't Look Back," "I Understand, I'm Sorry," "I Am a Hero," and "Goodbye to Us."

On the 28th, Lim Young-woong pre-released the music video for the title track "Like Eternity in a Moment" on his YouTube channel. The music video conveys a precious feeling about ordinary daily life and features a lively yet soothing band sound. The music video surpassed 300,000 views within less than a day after its release.

His agency, Fish Music, has not yet disclosed detailed information about the tracks. However, Fish Music described "IM HERO 2" as "an album that offers the joy of selective listening," stating that Lim Young-woong will showcase a broadened musical spectrum and diverse charms through this album.

Since debuting with the single "I Hate You" in 2016, Lim Young-woong formed a strong fandom by winning first place in TV Chosun's trot survival program "Mr. Trot" in 2020. Since then, he has expanded his fandom by performing various genres including trot, ballad, pop, dance, hip-hop, and folk.

His chart performance so far reflects his popularity well. The title track "Can We Meet Again" from his first album "IM HERO," released in May 2022, ranked first on the Circle Chart weekly digital chart. At that time, it topped over several popular songs such as Big Bang's "Still Life," Psy's "That That," and IVE's "LOVE DIVE."

Lim Young-woong also demonstrated his strong presence by ranking first on the charts with songs like "Grains of Sand" and "Do or Die," released in June and October 2023 respectively, as well as "Warmth," released last May, and "More Beautiful Than Heaven," released last April. The Circle Chart is an official music chart that ranks songs by compiling data from major music platforms such as Melon, Genie, Flo, and Bugs.

Currently, the top spots on the latest weekly digital chart are occupied by three songs: "Golden" and "Soda Pop" from the Netflix animation "K-Pop Demon Hunters" OST, and BLACKPINK's "JUMP," holding the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places respectively. These songs have maintained their top positions for six consecutive weeks, drawing attention to whether Lim Young-woong's new song will reach the top of the music charts.

Meanwhile, Lim Young-woong's new album will not be released as a physical album (CD). Fish Music announced that they decided not to produce a physical album for Lim Young-woong's second album "IM HERO 2." Instead, to commemorate the comeback, they plan to sell an "album book" containing photo spreads. Fish Music stated, "The 'album book' will not be included in album sales counts."
